Celebrating Passover with Manischewitz

Passover has always been one of my favorite holidays! I love the seder, the story, the traditions, and especially the food! Ever since I was a little girl, I remember the excitement leading up to Passover. I tried to be helpful wherever I could - cleaning my room, unpacking our seder plate and decorations, and going food shopping with my parents. But I must say, kosher for Passover food has come a long way since I was a kid! There are so many more options than there used to be and I love discovering new products, especially from trusted, classic brands like Manischewitz and their parent company Kayco!

When I think about the seder, I immediately think of matzah and 4 cups of Manischewitz wine. Even though we can’t eat chametz (leavened food) for 8 days, Passover food doesn’t need to be bland or boring. In fact, I like that it challenges me to get creative in the kitchen and I’m grateful to Manischewitz for offering such a large and diverse variety! Here are some specific products I am excited to try this year:

  • A better-for-you update to the traditional horseradish (white and beet)

  • Gluten-Free Wafers

  • A delicious new variety of Chocolate Covered Matzo, available also in Gluten-Free (Chocolate Mint, Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and White Chocolate)

  • Potato Chips (Salted, Unsalted, and Rippled).

I recently learned about two other brands that offer lots of high quality Kosher-for-Passover products: Tuscanini and Heaven & Earth. Imported from Italy, Tuscanini carries items like spicy, jarred Calabrian peppers in oil, a wide range of Italian tomatoes, Premium Cooking Wine made of Rosso Toscano and White Muscat Grapes to take your cooking to the next level.

And if you have a sweet tooth like I do, you’re in luck! Heaven & Earth launched some fun and delicious products, including Dark Chocolate with 70% Cocoa Solids and No Sugar Added, No Sugar Added Milk Chocolate; and No Sugar Added Milk Chocolate with Hazelnuts. I know that my kids will love their new line of Taffy Ropes made with natural flavors and colors like  Watermelon, Fruit Punch, Blue Raspberry Toffee, Tropical Coconut Pineapple, and Chocolate Mint Taffy Ropes.

Thank you to Manischewitz for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
