Guys, taking care of one kid all weekend instead of two felt like I was on vacation 😂 Seriously - *everything* felt easier! There was no struggle putting on clothes in the morning or getting out the door. When we went out to eat, we did not have to worry about getting a high chair or feeding a toddler. Our days felt more flexible since we weren’t on a strict nap schedule. ✨ And it kind of made me laugh… because I remember the days when having one baby felt soooo hard and lots of things (like leaving the house or eating out) felt impossible. Oh how the times have changed! 💖 But in all seriousness, it was so nice to have quality time and to give my undivided attention to this sweet face for a couple of days. Feeling grateful for having parents and in-laws who make weekends like this one possible! // thank you @rachelulman for this photo!
Adina spent a couple of days at her grandparents’ home in Massachusetts over the weekend. Although we were hardly away from each other for even two full days, when she came back home last night, I told Michael that I felt like she had grown up so much during our time apart. ✨ She was speaking in complete sentences (not her toddler shorthand babble) as she was telling me about all of the fun things she did with her grandma and grandpa. 🦋 With a rainbow painted on her face (leftover from the Purim carnival she attended earlier that day), she proudly showed me the letter “A” candle that she got at @yankeecandle and the lamb she made at @buildabear 🌈 Who is this big kid and where did my little girl go?! Jumping for joy for the first day of SPRING! 🌺 Bring on the warm weather!
“What do ya mean, it’s already Monday?!” 😻 After a busy weekend full of holiday carnivals and parades (see my stories for some highlights), I am actually relieved that it’s Monday! While I love weekends at home with the family, I think I may love getting back into our weekly routine even more. Sundays when we have the kids with us all day leave me feeling totally exhausted! 🙈 Any other parents with me on this?
Mama’s lucky charms 🍀 Irish or not, I’ll take all the hugs and kisses these girls will give me! Happy St. Patty’s Day! 💚
4 months (+2 days!) with our smiley Noa Ella 💕 So much has happened in the last month! Noa played in the snow for the first time and took her first trip abroad. ❄️ She was a pro traveler and managed to fall asleep on both plane rides to Mexico. ✈️ She has been missing the poolside cocktails she became accustomed to. 🍹 She also spent her first night away from mama and papa and did great while on her grandparents' watch! Noa's becoming much more interactive - she loves reaching and grabbing whatever is in sight and tries to put everything in her mouth - especially her hands (and occasionally Adina's fingers.) 🤤 At her last doctor appointment, she weighed in at 14 lbs 11.1 oz (42%) and 25 inches (74%) and impressed the doc by rolling from her belly onto her back. Soon she'll be on the move! We love you, Noa girl! 💖
Now that our days are staying lighter longer, it means spring is around the corner and we are so excited to play outside again! ☀️ Adina is loving her new kicks from @seekairunbasics. They're cute, comfortable, and so easy to put on - perfect for my independent toddler who insists on doing everything herself these days! 👟 And I love that they’re designed for proper foot development and are super flexible so she has room to move. 🌸 Let’s just hope I can keep up with her! http://liketk.it/2ApJd #liketkit @liketoknow.it
