Adina's 12 Month Update!

I can’t believe my baby is one! This year seriously flew by. I did not expect to feel as emotional as I do but I can’t help it when I reflect back on this past year and how much Adina has changed our lives. It’s been amazing to watch her grow each month and can’t wait for all the months and years to come. Okay enough with the mushiness...she just lights us up! Below are some of my favorite moments, memories, and milestones from the past month.

-She wants to walk so badly! She side-steps while holding onto the couch or table and can pace back and forth in or apartment on her walker

-She has stood on her own for a few seconds at a time, but usually plops down on her tushy.

-This past month was the first time we were away from her for more than a couple of nights (during our trip to Arizona) and she did great! She stayed with her grandparents and had the best time!

-Our first visit to the pumpkin patch at Governor’s Island with Aunt Jess

-Cake smash and family photos (some of them are in this post) with Faryl Loew Photography

-Celebrating Savta’s (my mom’s) birthday in N.J.

-Celebrating friends’ first birthdays in Prospect Park

-First time dressing up for halloween - matching unicorn costumes!

-She’s definitely understanding more of what we say to her and copying our sounds and movements.

-I love when she tries to feed her food to Michael and me during mealtime
